The Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics Press , founded in 1985, is a state-level publishing house. In 1994, the press was awarded the title of Advanced Group of National Teaching Material Management by High Education Office of National Education Commission in 1994, was honored as Advanced University Publishing House by National Education Commission in 1995, and has continually been regarded as Excellent Publishing House by the Central Administration of Press & Publication of China, and it is also one of the first 36 publishing houses which own the publishing right of electronic publications. Since its establishment , more than one hundred kinds of books published by the press have been awarded national level and province level prizes. In recent years, the Press of BUAA has made wide trade of publishing rights with America, England, Japan, South Korea Taiwan and Hongkong etc. About 300 kinds of new versions and reprinting books are published every year.
